Default DoubleArrow rescaled: simple but functional

Last year I bought a Torrey that came with thin metal scales which I disliked, then. So I re-scaled it, but kept the scales in my "special drawer". Although I'm one of the lucky guys who got a DoubleArrow with acceptably well aligned scales, I got tired of those cheap and flimsy plastic ones. Remembering those metal scales, I mounted them on my DoubleArrow. The blade is rather heavy, giving a good balance to the scales, which are thinner than those Wapi scales. These are only 1mm thick (each). I'm quite happy with the result. Great shaver BTW!

I didn't actually make them, but took them from another razor. I believe those scales are sold by ClassicShaving.
