Tighten pin

Just recieved my brand new 7/8 fla doble temple and when held in the standard shaving position i realized the handle pin area is realy sloppy with the razor being quite heavy they defanatly need tightning can i tighten my self and any info on how to ?

It's not easy.

Send it to somebody who knows what they are doing.

I've made scales and the hardest part is pinning them to the blade. Looks easy, sounds easy, but if you are not careful, you can either crack or ding the scales. It's easy to do it badly.

Classic shaving have still got my razor i am trying to get them to get it repaired hope fully they might repair this for me i have literaly used on my right cheek and that is when i noticed the looseness especialy as the blade is heavy. I will send it out to some one if i have to i carn't shave with a loose handle.The blade is tight but in the wrong areas not the shaving position could you recomend any one to tighten if i need thanxs gary.

If you look through the classifieds section under "members services" there are several razor restorers who will be able to pin your razor.

Gary in the Wiki and a Sticky in the Workshop there is a Illustrated Pinning guide I did awhile ago... IF you have the right tools it is rather simple, read through those and see what you think.....
