I would just like to know if anyone has any particular recommendation for brands of honing compound, or is one Jeweller's Rouge much like any other?
At the moment I'm hand-sanding with Micro Mesh MX and finishing with Renaissnce Pre-Lim on a soft polishing mop, but I've got an urge to try for a finer mirror finish, but there are so many different types of compound I'm at a loss as to where I begin.
I've got some Fabulustre on the way, but apart from that I'm uncertain as to what I need.
