    Default mono scale blank size?

so i got on a whim today with a bit of off cut wood from another project

what would a good size be for mono scales blanks (both for me to have on hand and to maybe sell later )

right now i have one just over an inch tall x5 7/8 long and 3/8 wide (sides are 1/8 each and a 1/8 groove in the middle )

so would i be able to get most razor to fit into a block like that ?

if so i will keep it in mind for other cut offs from knives
    thanks

That's just about the right size. Depending on how you choose to cut the slot, you could get away with a little thinner than 3/8". I use a thin kerf tablesaw blade, but you could make a narrower slot with a band saw or by hand.
