    Default Work in progress...

    I should have thought to take some "before" pics before I started sanding the blade...

    This is a 6/8, very hollow, Genco "Forge Mark" I just got off ebay. I was originally intending to clean it up and sell it to help fund some HAD, but it's just too cool. So I'm keeping it. Here's some in-process pics.

    I still haven't figured out how much I want to clean up the tang area with the hammer tracks, and the blade is about halfway through the 600-grit cycle, heading for 1000 and then some polishing. The scales appear to be after-market, but they're in good shape so they'll last for a while...
