Thanked: 735Broke my new Bartmann
Scored a very nice worked back Bartmann. Little to no hone wear. A bit of corrosion, but nothing outrageous.
I gave my new find a caress, and then rubbed is a bit with acloth and polish to see what was what with the corrosion....
*snap*!
The tip corner came off right in my hand! Full hollow? Oh my yes!
Anyhow, surgery is underway, however, the patient is still in critical condition........

Disaster! Well done on keeping so positive about it.
Luckily you will still salvage something from it.

Looks like you could do a round point on it and still keep the goldwash. Not much room for your usual thumbnotch,as you'll get into the tang stamp.

That's a shame. Either you're the hulk or that razor was pretty weak at the toe. You could always shorten the entire razor and make a nice little compact one! I've actually wanted a really short one...I think it would be easier to hone and shave with.....Ok, you MUST shorten the razor and PM me immediately!

That is a heartbreaker. My condolences. You definitely have a positive attitude. Making lemonade out of a lemon.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
