    Default knife restoration guidance needed

Here are some pictures of knives I found at my family farm that I would like restored.

As you can tell these knifes are in need of some serious attention. I have no restoration experience (hell I'm still trying to get through a straight shave with out looking like my chin was attacked by a cat lol) and would like some opinions of some seasoned professionals.

Should I just get some prices from people who restore knifes or should I see what I can do on my own or am I biting off more than I can chew?

Unless you have the tools or the time to hand sand you could do it yourself but be prepared to sweat and spend some time sanding.

Your best bet is to contact someone from the classifieds at the members services section.

These guys know about knives,i would take better picks of the makers stamps on the blades though, you may not want to sand or grind anything yet.

I like that word, I think I'll start using it.
