Best way to remove oil on straight razor
What is the best way to remove oil from a straight razor? I know you're supposed to rinse it with warm water, but what do I do after? Do I use a washcloth? What direction do I wipe it? Length wise or height wise?

I use a washcloth. Don't touch the edge.

I'm not supposed to touch the edge? I was told I could. How am I supposed to get the oil off the cutting edge and dry it when i'm done shaving?
