    Default Hacksaw Blade for 10" Craftsman Band Saw?

    Has anyone ever tried a hacksaw blade for this saw? I saw some online and was wondering if they could be used to but 1/8 brass and nickel/silver. I don't want to ruin the saw, not waste money on a useless blade.

    I have a 9" band saw and use the metal cutting blade to cut 1/8 and 1/4 brass all the time. Brass and nichol/silver are soft metals and cut quite easily. Keep in mind that all blades become dull with use, so I can't tell you how much cutting you will get on any given blade.
