Good morning gents,

I have been staright shaving for a year and have acquired some lovely razors that I manage to keep nice and sharp. I have never attempted any restoration other than tapping the pin to tighten the scales. I have noticed that two of my carbon steel vintage Kropp and Gustholf razors have developed some black marks around the blade. I have always dried them as best I can and then put them in an airing cupboard but the marks have still appeared. I do have a dremmel drill with attachments (polishing pads etc), can you tell me how to remove these blemishes from the blade and what product I can use. Also , how many times can the blemishes be removed before it starts to damage the face of the blade etc. I live in the UK so could do with advice regarding products that can be purchased locally if at all possible.

All the best.
