Thumbs up Is this razor worth restoring for regular use?

I recently came into possession of a H. Boker & Co razor. The blade was made in Germany and has "Unrivalled Hollow Ground" etched on the face of the blade. The scales are black plastic. The woman I acquired it from said it was her dad's (who was a barber back in the day). It has quite a bit of tarnish and some rust. It is in desperate need of a sharpening too. Any thoughts on the quality of H. Boker & Co?

Default I'll have to get on that tonight

I'm still at work so I'm not exactly able to post pictures. I just came into possession of it today at work so I got a little over excited and posted before I got pictures

Yes, please post some pics and in addition, check out the Boker razor club where you'll probably see a picture of one similar or identical to yours:

EDIT: There are a ton of posts in that thread and fortunately I found one pretty early on page 6:

my boker good as gold is my all time favorite shaver... too bad it got stolen. I would think that I'd try all of my tricks to try to bring any boker back to life. Good luck

I've got several that are great to shave with, two of which I brought back to life. I don't think I have ever heard a valid negative comment about them. If I can bring one back to life, you shouldn't have much a problem either.

I have two of them. I love them both. They are good shavers.
