Does the wedge have any wedge to it? Not to worry, I have made several razors without any taper and they are still working. Over time I have gravitated toward and found that a tapered wedge tends to work a little better.

I really like the shape and overall fit and finish of your work it is very nice.

It is wedged, but the outside is black so it may just look flat in the picture. I figure it will start to rotate if it's just flat and not glued in. I really like the toughness of Micarta. I may make the next one thinner. Also, the grain is a bit exagerated, in real life it doesn't pop out so much.
