Default "Patience" easier said than done...

Been working on these custom scales in my free time for over two weeks. Taking the time to work on test pieces first to dial in what I'm trying to do. While working on the actual scales the router bit warmed the acrylic and sucked it up like a noodle into the bit.

Took a chunk right out of the scale and ruined it.

Thought to myself; "I'll work on the other scale and remake that one tomorrow". Let me tell you, history does in fact repeat itself, sometimes sooner than you think.

Ruined both sides and will have to start over again.

Figured it was time for a beer and a smoke (while trying to resist the urge to throw random stuff).

Man...I soooo feel your pain. There's nothin like watching 30 hrs worth of work ripped out of you hands by a buffing wheel and hurled into oblivion.
    Time for another beer.

    Been there, done that.
Wait, I'm still doing it right now!

It's all part of the experience.

Personal Mantra #13682 "No Education is Free."

I chalk it up to "education" so I don't have to repeat the same mistakes twice. (I hope)

    Still sucks though, don't it?
