    Default My Latest Project

Here are some pics of an old Wade and Butcher blade that I made some scales for. The scales are Oak stained with Red Mahogany. This Oak was the only "exotic" wood that Lowes had so I thought that I would try it anyway.

PS: This is my first attempt at making scales.

    Bill,

Very nice. I have an oak desk that is stained in Rosewood. A bit darker, but a great color.

Great first effort. And on a fine shaver, too! God job!
