After many days of sanding them thinner, I have just put the first coat of Tung oil finish on. Pictures tomorrow after it is dry. Then recoat a few more times, polich and wax, then assemble.

ALRIGHT! It is finished. Any input is welcome. Plumb wood Tung oil finish hand polished, wedge is flush pinned 3/32 brass and epoxied, pivot pin in a big 1/8 brass with stainless washers. Is not shave ready.

My plan is to make a matching stand and brush to go with it as a set. Perhaps after that we can make a deal.
