So my dad had a buddy who makes custom cabinets. He mentioned I was making scales and was looking for wood. This guy said "oh man, I have ton of "scrap" that I usually burn for firewood in the winter. He told my dad he would bring him "a few pieces". He asked my dad if he needed it cut (amazing I know). He dropped this bundle off to my dad. Already cut to 1/8 and 1/4 . He told him he has "plenty" more if I needed it. He wouldnt take any money for this stuff. I feel so LUCKY. One piece is bolivian rosewood (which he said is rare).
