Somebody posted this on a motorcycle forum, but I figured it would be a great idea for our purposes, especially since something could be ghettoed to hold larger wheels, like in Bill Ellis' videos.

Yup that is pretty powerful. I noticed that he failed to show a person how to make the flex shaft and why does he slam everything down on his work bench?
All I have to say is, Where the hell have you been FiReSTaRT? and Welcome back!!
That looks like the flex shaft available in the woodturning catalogs. Don't quote me on this though as I don't personally utilize this system.

I have one of those blenders.. It was my Great Grandmothers, still works, I just need to find a new rubber ring. the old one finally died.
that would be pretty cool, but I doubt all the parts are cheaper than a just picking up a dremel.
Brilliant! A store bought flexshaft and blender equals a multi-speed hand tool.
Charlie
That's great!
Charlie, to be completely honest, I was half expecting to find out that you were the one who made the video :D You make the coolest shop tools.
That's pretty cool. Imagine how fast a newb could completely destroy a vintage blade with that!
