Who needs a Dremel when you have a blender?
Somebody posted this on a motorcycle forum, but I figured it would be a great idea for our purposes, especially since something could be ghettoed to hold larger wheels, like in Bill Ellis' videos.

Yup that is pretty powerful. I noticed that he failed to show a person how to make the flex shaft and why does he slam everything down on his work bench?

That looks like the flex shaft available in the woodturning catalogs. Don't quote me on this though as I don't personally utilize this system.

that would be pretty cool, but I doubt all the parts are cheaper than a just picking up a dremel.

That's pretty cool. Imagine how fast a newb could completely destroy a vintage blade with that!
