    Default plastic polishing

Ok guys I need a bit of learnings from you all. I have found out while working with acrylics for pens and scales that I need to figure out a way to take out really really fine searches in dark colored stuff. I have read and used sanding for polishing. I start out with 400w/d then head all the way up to 12k with the micromesh. Now after reading several posts can anyone tell me weather or not hitting this with novus 2 and novus 1 would be over kill or would this help out. I have no problems buying the stuff I just want to know if it works. Also I have read about the white rogue on a buffing wheel. I have a 1750 grinder and the white rogue. No wheels right now. Is this grinder slow enough to polish or will this spin to fast. Also would using the white rogue be overkill after the micromesh. Again thanks guys.
