I have a vague memory of seeing a post by someone here who uses, at some point in restoring an old blade, a tumbler full of media like corncob, the kind of thing used by folks who reload their own ammunition to clean brass cases.
I'd be interested in hearing how and when that's a good idea, since I've got one and would be interested in using it.
