    Default I need some advice please

    I bought this blade recently and I don't know if I should remove the etching on the front to also remove some slight pitting and a mirror like finish or leave it there. It is somewhat faint but still legible.Its a Wade and Butcher 7/8. Any advice welcome. I plan on reselling it when finished. Thanks,Scott
