This is the george w & son that was in perfect condition on flea bay,except the blade was about an inch short when I got it ,but very well done
Anyway making the best of a bad situation ,I now have a travell razor,when its honed .
This is what it looks like now

Peter, that is an excellent solution to a chipped blade. I think I will try it on one that I tanked during restoration. Sheffield steel, nice shape but now chipped at the toe.
I will give mine a try. Did not think it would look this good when shortened.

Short blades are cool!
I like them much better than full size 3" blades.
