Don't do it. Noreason to ruin a perfectly good razor. If you want a spike point, there are plenty to be had at a very reasonable cost in the classifieds, via whipped dog, or the restored razor.
Sure, you can do it if you want to. Personally, I would rather just buy a razor with the point I want rather than modding one, but it's your choice. Keep the speed/heat low and go slowly. Make sure you observe all safety percautions as well.
I have done this to a razor which has been serverly chipped at the toe. It takes a long time and to make it look astheticly pleasing you will also have to shorten the scales.
All up I think it would be much easier and more fun to just buy a spike point razor.

i was actually wondering about the possibility of chipping the toe. i wouldn't want that to happen! i would probably pass on this idea then :) it would be better to just buy a new razor :)Quote:
