You should also post a pic which shows off the wood grain pattern and color of the scales. What wood did you use for them?
I'm engaged in my first full scale resto and I don't expect my scales to come out looking that good, but I'm hoping. Nice job.

Well I have started to hone the razor ,been at it for an hour ,As expected ,hardly a dent. This is definately going to take a while . I had to put four layers of tape on the spine to get to the edge,as the blade has a very fine hollow grind ,nearly a wedge . I will fix that when I do razor no 2 ,as this is my first on I`m discovering things as I go along ,things that I will change on the next one
any way I will let you know how I go
