    Default Pearl shell laminate

Well it turned out OK. Shell laminate on 1/16" wood with blue plastic liners.

The shell stinks when sanding, like having teeth drilled, yuk.

    Thumbs up

OMG Those are awesome! With scales like that and others you have been making, I think you should have yourself a nice home business going! Very impressed!!!

I told you you have complete artistic freedom...besides I dont know how much work goes into different scales and I would hate to see you slaving over anything for me. As long as its pretty, Im happy

JL, thanks for the praise but I'm not sure I can bow and scrape just yet.

Bill aka Urleebird is a professional.

Vlad should be but can't afford to.

    Me, I'm just a hobbyist.

When I get to the stage when I think I'm close I may make and sell a few. They are certainly improvements on the standard plastic scales and some I've made I'm very proud of.

When you get yours and a few others arrive then I will accept feedback and comments. Nothing I've sold to date covers the costs of the scales or the time involved so I feel pretty good not pretending to be something I'm not.

Bill and Vlad will tell you how much time and effort goes in to making scales and I wouldn't get out of bed for the sallary / income they return. I do it because I like it. I haven't been this motivated for ages and it's mostly due to all of the members on SRP for their help and encouragement.

What can I say absolutely PEEEEEERFEEEEEEECT
    Kind regards Peter
PS use a good respirator and have a bucket of water handy to keep every thing wet therefore minimizing the dust , that stuff is deadly. Also while were on the subject red bean and black bean, both OZ woods ,the dust will make your lungs bleed
