Default Chris Johnson gets a new jacket

    Hi All,

I got a pair of Sheffield Chris Johnson razors the other day, one is on it's way to Joe Chandler.
The other I decided to give some evening wear.
Note the change in colour when the light is strong.
Blue plexi wedge, thin walnut and shell laminate.

You are getting good at this, Gary. I'll be able to really retire soon with all this new talent on the block. Keep up the good work.

Damn. Wish I'd have had you rig me up some window dressing like that before you sent it. In the words of Don "Magic" Juan...dat's pimp.

No way Bill, we need you to set the standards. Thanks All though for the words of encouragement.

I like experimenting, using different materials and I don't always stick to the traditional concept of scale design, shape etc..For me making scales is like a box of chocolates....you know the rest..

    Gary

ps Joe, you said "send as is"

I'm with Bill, Gary. You're work is improving very quickly. This razor and the others you have listed recently are ALL top drawer. I hope you never get bored of playing with new materials, because I never get tired of looking at them. Please keep osting them.

Thanks X, watch this space as I'll be putting up a George Butler (Shakespear) with same scales next week.
