Hey,
I am re-pinning a Boker blade that had a tube. I was going to use a 3/32 rod without the tube to fit the hole in the blade. Would I need a #2 washer from microfasteners to get the right inside diameter for the 3/32 rod? Or would it be better to find a 3/32 tube with a 1/6 rod and the #0 washers for inside and out?

If you are going to actually use these for pivots then you need the wrenchs (2) and you need to call for those they are 3/32 hex these might be listed online now I haven't checked in years...

Thanks to all for this excellent info.! I just ordered all of the above from micro-fasteners, got my pinstock from Jantz, and my greaseless comounds and wheels. I already have all the buffers and other tools I need in my son's knife-making workshop. Now I plan to dive into razor restoration on all the awesome old razors I've bought the last few months-I can't wait!

I have a couple straight razors I am making and like the idea of using micro fasteners. My question is this. The blade steel I am using is 1/4 inch at it's thickest point "spine" . So, with that in mind . and the Scales being say a little less that a 1/4 of an inch , will the above micro screws work ? Order the 1 inch and trim them to fit
I ordered all on the list. I should be able to make it work. Using wood for scales so I can always sand them thinner
