Hi. Need some info please.

I went to micro fasteners and was not sure of what to get to mock up scales. Im talking about the screws and nuts to fit and sand. can you tell me what works for you. size,length head type. It will save me some head scratching and wasted bread. thank you so much.

So instead of answering it just in the pm I put together a complete shopping list, this was done in the Workshop Sticky about 3 -4 years ago but it is outdated now so I will add this thread to it...

This is everything I normally have on hand to not only Mock Up scales but also for washers to build Stacked, Domed & Singles...

Nuts: Hex Nuts - Brass - Micro Fasteners

These as they are easier to use for mock up

If you have any intention of using them for real then get these little ones

Washers: Flat Washers - Brass - Micro Fasteners

Get all these in brass for in and out

In SS Flat Washers - Stainless - Micro Fasteners

Get these

If you are going to actually use these for pivots then you need the wrenchs (2) and you need to call for those they are 3/32 hex these might be listed online now I haven't checked in years...
