Howdy all! This is my first post. I just bought a straight razor a couple weeks ago from the classifieds section here, and I was just finishing up my third shave when my wet fingers slipped and into the sink my precious razor went and now the spike is slightly bent, not much at all but noticeable with the eye, which I noticed when I was stropping it and I noticed I was scraping the the strop (the three tiny scratches I have - no tearing - are they a problem?).

Anyway, my dad (who is not a straight razor user and knows little about them) says we should just try honing it out on his hone which might could be useable for a razor. I'm thinking I should send it into Classic Shaving and get it repaired. Advice?

PS.: I don't even know if there's anything wrong with the edge after dropping it... I did a couple of test shaves with it after about 15 linen/40 leather strops, and it didn't seem to bad, but I'm definitely a rank beginner and I don't know too much!
