A covered tang rebuild
An interesting project..
An ivory tang Rodgers, with shattered ivory.. heres a little picture story of how it got re-built.

Pic2: further grinding, drilled out shaft in Ivory Paper micarta. Notched some teeth in the blade's tang so epoxy would hold well. also, it fit so tightly in the shaft, I had to use a rubber mallet to get it all the way in :D
