I would like a razor with that finish in some scales, but with atleast 8000 grit finish :) I thought of putting one of my carbon DOVO's in a white vinegar bath to make it like that. It is a popular way of blackening professional chief's carbon knifes. I might do that some day.Quote:

Out of curiosity.. The pivot pin hole seems rather small, indicating the need for a more rigid rod stock than plain ol' brass. What will you be using?
