You are a true artist Vlad. If you put half the effort/skill into your every day life I do not see how it could be anything but spectacular.

Wow! Now that's a warm welcome back and very inspirational. Thank you!
You definitely know how to make a guy feel guilty about being absent. :o
I must admit that you inspire me to complete the second razor. I will try to finish the blade and pin it to the scales which have been ready for a few months. These are a near twin to these scales: Ebony/Afzelia burl but with a swirl grain pattern and brass bands that are more figured and I find them to be more delicate. The blade is 5/8" near wedge and should be a very elegant looking razor if I manage to restore the blade. :w
The razor in these pictures has a matching box that is ready for contouring and flocking, which I look forward to completing.
The second razor has no box at the moment because after a fixable screw-up while working on it, I took my frustrations out with a hammer. When I was done there weren't too many pieces left bigger than a toothpick. So needless to say it is a write off and it only felt good for about a minute until I realized that I would have to start from scratch. :gth
Been there, done that (more than once :y )
