Default Pins and domed washers - were to get them?

Anyone know of a source to get the stock pins and domed washers like what comes with scales from the Superior Shave??

I have several sets of new scales, and each one came with a pin and domed washer, but I've just about used them up replacing microfasteners that I used in my early resto days. Now that almost all my razors are peened pins, I am rapidly running out of pins and domes.

I see sets sold from the Superior Shave, but they are like super expensive at a 1$ a pin/washer combo.

I can come up with many a brass pin, but it's those little domed washers that are the cats meow as they grip onto the pins really nicely as help hold things together until the peen is solid.

    Any Ideas??

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

I make my own but, at $1 a pin that actually isn't bad considering the prices that are out there for others..

You need a Doming and Dapping set to make them

Taking a look to see what his are

Mike, these are one sided pins and lock collars

Yes, you can make them using what are called All Brass Estrusion Pins (sp) and a 00 Brass washer from Micro fasteners...

These are much like the new Dovo and TI pins as well as just about every other new company too (Revisor, Wacker) I am just not going to go into the advantages and disadvantges of one sided vs two sided

I suppose Brass wouldn't rust but is there any other advantage? I would think it would be softer. Mine is steel and it works great.
