Default 1st restore W&B pre 1891, 6/8 full hollow grind.

This is my 1st restore. Sorry no before pictures. The scales that came with this were bone, in rough shape and not original to the razor. These are horn. The 1st set I made were in ebony but I did not like the balance. The wedge is lead. I learned about the function of a tapered wedge from Gsixxgun on this project. The tip of the blade is a bit muted because there was a small crack there I had to remove. I guess I'm a bit of a traditionalist so I wanted to stay in keeping with how it might have originally looked. If any are interested my 2nd restore is in the restoration forum. It's a Wm. Jackson & Son also from Sheffield.
