I recently found this wade and butcher blade. It has a crack on the blade. Questions:
1. is it worth putting new scalse on, and making shave ready?
2. Would I have to use special care when using this? I can imagine that the crack will attract water and corosion will propogate from there.
Yes, it can be saved with a little time and care. I had a very similar crack in a W&B and ground it out carefully and slowly with a Dremel.

The think about the crack isn't that it may attract water, it's more that its going to rip off your face first.

I have done a couple using a drill press abd a sanding drum.. I think if I used a dremmel I wouldn't be typing this right now... Or, maybe with just my thumbs...
I dont know if I have the skill to do that so I may outsource it to someone I have sent a couple of razors to before. I want him to put some custom scales on it to. Thinking Carbon fiber. Yea!
