Thread: Is this good to make scales from?

So I use fiberglass resin with some black acrylic paint to fill cracks in slabs of wood to make tables. It works really well and looks amazing after being finished. It cures up really hard and im wondering if this would make good scales for razors? I know there's macarta, but i don't know the composition for it. I had some resin left over and thought, why not try it. So I mixed some up with orange and poured some into a mold. Any info would be great.
