Dubl duck and barbicide stained my pearly scales
I recently purchased a dubl duck wonderedge and placed it in undiluted barbicide. Reason being my lady brought barbicide home from her salon and I assumed it was ready to go. Made an a** out of my self when I fully submerged my razor turning scales pearly blue. They are the original scales and I'm unpinning because when I received it the blade was, and still is, not centered. So while I have the scales off I'd like to get it all done. What is the best way to get them back to original color? I'm thinking a 1 to 1 mix of hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alchohol. I've searched the forum for this and didn't find much on celluloid scale repair so any advice would be much appreciated. Should I lift the inlays? Also my first post hello to everyone! If anyone would like to add what type of metal is used as original pins on wonderedge I'd be much obliged. I'd like to keep it OG.

Tapatalk is what, two bucks? Makes any vbulletin forum that enables it super easy to browse and post photos to for mobile users.
I'll be honest, I really want to see how these scales look. :)

Look at you with your crazy free tapatalk :). I bought it a few years ago on Android. Not sure if it still costs $$ on android or if it's free all around now.

Thank you for the app recommendation I had now idea. It will be very useful. For the record I did have to pay for the app.

Is oxyclean safe for celluloid?
