When the spine has severe pitting
I was thinking about how to go about saving a razor with severe pitting along the spine.
I had another razor with a worked spine and it gave me the answer :)
When you work a spine like this you need to make sure the edges that will come into contact with the hone and strop aren't sharp. Just buff it smooth.
The razor isn't finished, I just liked that spine enough to post about it.
Anybody think of a way to improve on this?

Re: When the spine has severe pitting
I think it might look more intentionally designed and a bit more esthetically pleasing if you put a second divot, half the size or smaller, halfway between each of the other larger divots. But that's just my thinking.
