Thread: Hone my second razor

Hello all....

I just hone a DOVO that I bought from ClassicShaving....

I have one question, I starting in this, and I have other razor that I bought in Ebay...

I hone both of them....

Today I shaved with both of them and with a shavette using a persona blade to compare my hone with an already sharped blade...

Obviously the best one was the Shavette, but the feeling in my skin with the DOVO was very close to the Shavette....

I have a Norton 4k/8k, paddle strop with red paste, and my strop....

What should I do to get the DOVO at least as sharp as the Persona?

Should I keep doing the pyramid? just more cycles with the 8k? more red strope? or just more in the strop?
