I dabbled with making a set of scales with Fuchsia Acrylic perspex.

I read a member that said this could make some nice scales so i tried it.

Found a sheet on ebay and ordered it then went at it.

Now the only power tools i have is a disc belt sander so i have to cut by hand using a coping saw.

Now this acrylic is a little tougher to cut so i also used a blade to make some grooves on it and snap it instead of just sawing it.

As far as the sanding that went well uasing 120 grit till 2000 and then some Mothers mag polish which worked well.

A lot of sanding was on the machine to make the shape as with the coping saw i didn't see it happening.

It turned out pretty neat.

Now it's in my honing garage for a tune up with my stones.
