Default PUMA Freund NO1 Best steel.

    Hi all,

Have made purchase of said title razor from ebay. Shall try to post photo later.

The razor looks in nice condition, no major pitting and no rust. Some water marks and a little dirt.

However not SURE of that at the moment as have not had delivery yet .

Was hoping to get some info on giving it a basic clean up of both blade and scales.
Nothing major just a good clean and tidy.

    Any help would be great.

Thanking you all for your replys and will try and post photo later tonight.
    Nic.

I usually pound a Q-tip flat on the ends to where it will get into the scales. Use dental floss at the pivot if I need to get rid of grunge in there. Soap and water on a soft toothbrush, metal polish on the aforementioned along with paper towels. Plenty of elbow grease. That is my simple resto. More folks will come along with their routines. I have one of those Pumas like you've gotten. A fine shaver it is.
