Had a great shave with it today. Edge very sharp and smooth at the same time. I love this honzan/tomonagura combination.

Today I did the same with a Kukri razor that needed nearly 300 roundtrips and a J. Voos D. Sohn razor that needed over 200 roundtrips. Both passing the HHT

Thanked: 246I use a similar method all the time, works great for me too. I've found that a few edge trailing strokes right at the end sometimes (better with certain stones or razors) adds a nice little bit to the keenness without causing harshness as well.
