    Misty slurry. A lot less slurry at any stage than the first photo. I generally use for finishing a slurry that bunched up would be about the size of 2 quarters.

    I generally don't use naturals for razors, but when I have I finish with close to just water.

    I have two Jnats, and have only used them infrequently, so obviously I'm an authority and font of all knowledge regarding Japanese natural hones
    I used to finish with water but found the edge would degrade so started finishing with a misty slurry. I have tried a few laps on a dry hone and dry slurry method but haven't tried it enough to conclude results.
