I decided to take some pictures of my hones with my new ProScope HR Digital Microscope. I used two magnifications, 100X and 200X. Here are the pictures. The ProScope HR is proving to be a very useful tool for studying razors and hones. Please comment. It looks like the 200X lens is better for seeing differences in stone color than the 100X. There is also a 400X which I'm going to buy.

No legend. Definitely some yellow coticule pics in there. I'll guess Thuringian on the darker pics.

Dunno why you guys aren't seeing a legend.

    Top row left to right: 1st pic= vintage coticule @ x100; 2nd pic= vintage coticule @ x200; 3rd pic = dkb Escher @ x100; 4th pic = dkb Escher @ x200; 5th= db Escher @ x100.

    Bottom row left to right: 1st pic = db Escher @ x200; 2nd pic= YG fox @ x100; 3rd pic = YG fox @ x200; 4th pic = YG Escher @ x100; 5th pic= YG Escher @ x200.

I presume this is what you guys wanted to know? Otherwise I got confused and don't know what legend means.

I just had to move the cursor over the pics, not click them.

Oh... Just found out why... I am still using the old style skin... Steele Blue.

Change to VisionCollision and the legend shows.

Select at the bottom of the thread.

I see the titles of the images (which say what the shot is of and what magnification) in the old skin by mousing over each image. No need to change skins just to find out.
