Thanked: 132I really wish...
...i could figure out, what this hone is.
I bought this hone out of the U.K. It is dark green, with tiny blue micro dots thoughout the stone...looks like someone took a needle, dipped it in blue ink and dotted away. Possibly some kind of welch, green slate?
Lapping produces a milky slurry. It is a slow cutter, but behaves/performs like a finisher.
The closeup, small photo, is the xhone.
The other photo contains a charnley forest on the left, a dragons tongue in the center and the xhone on the right. Camera phones suck, but ive been spending all my money on stones. :-(Last edited by McWolf1969; 08-22-2009 at 02:23 AM.

You've got better eyes than I do! I can't tell much from the pic. I believe Mac said he has a TOS so he knows what they look like. I've owned two TOS and I've seen some others and none have been anything other than the light gray.
I agree, clearer pics would help. My money is not on a TOS.
