    Nope, and I didn't want to either....

    With that setup, if you put a stop of some kind for the toe of the blade to butt up against, you should be able to view pretty close to the same spot on the bevel each time, I would think. Just a thought. I know people are always asking about taking pictures of the same spot during a progression.

    Nice solution to the USB scope issues. Maybe you wouldn't mind sharing your resources for the parts. There seems to be a number of individuals looking for something like this.

    Amscope on EBay, the USB camera I got on closeout though. I don't know if you can find one that cheap. But you don't really need it. As I said above, using the scope with the eyepiece alone gives a nuch clearer image than shown in the image captures.

    I'm still experimenting with the lighting angles., but I came across this nice shot of the latest victim of a HHT.

    Bethleham Rust-less razor, after the 1.0um lapping film.
