I have one of his LM stones and it is equal to any finisher I have; that includes a naniwa 12K, les lateneuses hybrid, jnat, C12K, and several others. It is a fine finisher in my estimation.

I'll have my test razor honed today, hopefully the stone shows up soon

Rene how many laps did you do on the 4k and 8 k me and rodb need to be on the same page as you and did you test shave with the 8k yet ?

Ok i did 100 on the 4k and 75 on the 8k. I have not shaved of the 8k but it looks like i will have time. My hones did not come in today.

ok we will follow your lead on the lap count we all need to be on the same lap count and be able to shave comfortably off the 8k

100-4k/75-8k it is.
Mine haven't shown up yet either, hopefully tomorrow!

ok did the 1k honing today will do the 4/8k tomorrow and try to get the shave in to .

Ok i shaved off the 8k on both razors. One pass only because i hopefully dont want to wait as long for my next shave. Smooth comfortable shave considering its of an 8k. Im sure 2 passes would have been perfect.
