Really dumb question, but we are stropping after the 8k correct? I haven't stropped yet just in case

Shave straight off of the N8k and 20 laps on leather after to dry it off.

I guess that would depend on how your growth is. If i go BBS i need 2 days to get enough to shave again. Maybe 1 1/2 days. I didnt go 2 passes when i tested the edges. Just incase my hone showed up today. Sadly they did not show. Worse than a kid at christmas.

You mentioned about how many laps on the DT. 50 sounds good. Tough to say with having never used it. Not sure if it is a fast or slow stone. What do you think?

What do you think?[*** lets do the 50 laps i dont think they will be super fast we will go on just water. before we start on the DT( wash off the slurry after your done ) use the slurry stone to smooth over the DT to get out the 325 grit dmt scratchs this will slow down the DT and you'll get the max fineness out of the stone

just finished my shave it was great i came straight off the stone no stropping .love the smell of ogallala bay rum and sandalwood but i will add the stropping lap you did rene before i go on to the DT and waiting two days to go on to the Dt would be good for me

OK great. I have never tried that combo. I LOVE both scents so i think next time i will try that combo.

yeah it's great you can buy it from ogallala they have all kinds of combos i bought the sampler pack
