Thanked: 0Straightrazors.com
Has anyone had dealings with this online retailer? Their prices and selection look attractive but there is not much feedback available. They sell a razor under the brand name Grim Blades that looks interesting. Thanks for any feedback.

Thanked: 4249Welcome to SRP, Some fine members of this forum will shortly review this razor. Being that your new to straight (and there im only assuming)
my best suggestion to you would be to wait before you make that kind of investment.

Attractive prices? If you compare the exact same Dovo razors they sell at any other retailer you will notice that their 'discounted' price is at least twice the norm.
Here are two references for their made-up-brand razors:

http://straightrazorpalace.com/vendo...on-razors.html
Yes, the website name may be different but the entity behind all of these websites is the same.

Well if the cheeky monkeys at straightrazor dot com are trying to sell razors like this :
For silly money like this:
Vintage Straight Razor Magnetic Cutlery Co. - King Otto
$278.00
(You save $121.00)
They won't be getting any money off me for grinding down a razor with a chipped heel. They haven't even bothered to get rid of the shoulder.

Here's another belter from the folks at straight razors dot com:
Vintage Straight Razor Wade & Butcher
$349.00
(You save $240.00)
What a steal!! Chipped toe???

Any of our members cosidering the "Grimm" razor release would be well advised for some reviews from members probably
beginning mid-August. I think the reviews will be of real interest to our members.Bob

Thanked: 0I purchased a 10 piece beginner set for $65. First off, there are only 8 pieces. They count the pamphlet on how to use razor as a piece and a lifetime service as one too. Also, items are just wrapped in paper, vs a BOX as stated in the headline. Not happy. Also no returns what so ever. Then when you want to review them on their page, it says only for people who purchased them. I did and still could not review.

Thanked: 3795I'm not a fan of this company either, but as far as I understand, vendor bashing is not allowed no matter how richly it is deserved.
