Lately I've seen a plethora of these Damascus 'straight razor knives' up for bidding.

I have evidence that 3 poor suckers already have - I have one of these sitting in my "to do" honing pile at the moment, along with two Pakistani razors from another two people.
Well, I say "to do" pile. More like "need to have a gentle chat with the owner" pile.
It's a shame some people don't spend as much time researching their purchases as they do cruising ebay. It would save a lot of disappointment.

Seriously though, I noticed 3 similar "razors" on the Dutch Marktplaats, at €57,- each. Unless someone buys it because they like the looks of it, it feels like scamming newcomers to me.I want a lather whip
